A series of sketches reflecting the material surroundings of the Industrial Design building at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Each drawing incorproates the material properties of the building into it's design.

The sketches in this study attempt to capture the essence of the design building. Loose lines reflecting drafting tables, pinned critiques, and the constant shuffle of paper. The harsh brutalist concrete balanced with soft wood tones, with an abundance of noise and chatter.
Charcoal drawings ground that same environment in a new medium, reflecting the different light passing through at various times of day.
