As part of the Core Loop team working on Meta Horizon, I led the design and iteration of the core gameplay loop and the quests and rewards system aimed at improving player engagement, retention, and community-driven creativity. The initiative focused on giving creators and players a sense of long-term progression and purpose within a social, user-generated VR ecosystem.

The Quests and Rewards system consists of Daily quests, world-based quests, and seasonal events. My designs led to an increased average session time by 25% within the first test phase. Daily active users (DAU) rose due to repeatable quests encouraging short-form engagement. Improved creator retention by 18% due to creator-focused reward pathways. Enhanced community cohesion through cooperative quest structures and shared achievements.
