A series of original artifacts were created that draw inspiration from the paper cutting traditions across the world. These works combined intricate cutting methods with contemporary themes, resulting in pieces that honor the heritage of the craft while reinterpreting it in a modern context. The final artifacts reflect both technical skill and a thoughtful engagement with the cultural histories behind paper cutting.

The project also emphasized hands on experimentation as a way of understanding the craft beyond research alone. By practicing traditional cutting techniques and tools, the process revealed the patience, control, and intentionality required in paper cutting. This experiential approach informed the final designs, allowing each artifact to embody not just the visual style of the traditions studied, but also the disciplined craftsmanship and cultural appreciation of paper cutting.
